Laurie Afseth is an expert bronze caster and he also carves in wood, stone and snow. He was on teams with PSA members that won the National competition of snow sculpture at the Quebec Winter Games and he represented Canada in snow carving at the Olympics in LilleHammer. Manjari starts with a form in clay, covers it with many layers of paper and finishes with layers of sawdust and sand.
